Good Day from Kamakura, Japan! 🇯🇵 My second round of cucumber plants have begun to produce, giving me my first beautiful fruit to go with my abundant tomato harvest that’s still going strong. I also harvested and cooked the edamame, okra and green beans. It’s turned out to be a very good spring and summer growing season. 🙏🏿👍🏾🤩🐶

I found some volunteer tomatoes growing in my old compost pile, so I transplanted them into the bed with the eggplant and butternut squash. My Jalapeño starts are looking good, too! 👍🏾🤩🐶

So far, every thing I’ve planted is coming up well. I also planted more cucumbers, okra, jalapeño seeds and peanuts. And I have new crop covers to keep the bugs away. Bug season is almost here! 🤩🐶
